An Incredible Journey That Began In 2010

Originally established in 2010,  Britam Shipping started out offering refrigerated services from Latin America and handling containerised imports of foodstuffs from the USA.  The service was expanded five years later, in 2015, to include import services from the Far East and India

Britam continued its impressive growth by acquiring Salsa Shipping Ltd in 2017 and began offering export and breakbulk/project services to Latin America and other major markets globally from the UK and Europe

In April 2020 we opened a 40,000 square feet warehouse in West Yorkshire, which ushered in our state of the art warehousing solution and in addition UK and European distribution services 

Later in August of the same year, we successfully commenced offering global export and import airfreight services

Our Company

Is managed by UK based shipping professionals that have developed a set of skills, knowledge and combined shipping experience of more than 70 years.  With our UK based team we offer the required experience to handle all types of cargoes using all types of transport modes. Britam is well positioned as a reliable shipping company to help facilitate export and import trades from/to the UK

Along with our global network of agent partners we are dedicated to helping clients facilitate trade and logistics across the globe, Britam ensures that your valued shipments are handled in the most professional and efficient manner possible
